Bettendorf YMCA
Kids enjoy play time at Crow Creek Park every morning from 9AM-11AM!
R. Richard Bittner YMCA
Enjoy playtime at the Hubbell-Waterman Soccer Complex daily. This is the perfect camp for kids who are all about sports!
North Scott YMCA
Kids will travel to Ed White Elementary’s playground every morning from 9AM-11AM for outdoor playtime!
Riverdale Heights Elementary
Campers will be onsite at Riverdale Heights, having fun at the school playground space!
Forest Grove Elementary
Kids will go to Forest Grove Park every morning from 9AM-11AM!
All branch camps are DHS licensed and certified
Day Camps in a neighborhood close to home
Staff are trained and Red Cross-certified for AED and First Aid

Example of a Typical Day
Pool Day
On days where your child’s camp is visiting Splash Landing campers will be off-site from 9:00 a.m. to roughly 1:30 p.m.
Age Requirements
- For our branch programs
- children must have completed Kindergarten in 2025
- the age limit is 12 years old
We offer safe, fun, certified, and licensed programs
Program Details
- For School Age Kids who have finished Kindergarten (must meet age requirements)
- Staff are Red Cross and YMCA certified and trained
- Based at our high-level branch facilities, kids will get the opportunity to be in Air Conditioning, swim, play in the gyms and kids play areas, and visit local parks
- Activities will differ according to age groups
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided
- Programs are 100% nut-free
- Day Camp Hours: 6:00 am to 6pm

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Child Care Assistance is available
- Parents must be enrolled through Iowa DHS
YMCA Financial Assistance
- Must apply for DHS CCA and be denied to apply for a scholarship.
- Available to families who utilize the Y’s Income-Based Membership Program
- Membership must be for families/households, not just youth
- Limit of 50% of assistance for programs

Policies and Information
Registration
After you have paid enrollment fee and registered for weeks, you will need to go into your account under the member’s name. There will be requirements including paperwork to fill out and documents to submit. Registered children cannot come until ALL documents and requirements have been submitted and approved.
Recreational Swim Time
All children will have the opportunity to swim. Each pool is staffed by either Y lifeguards or those on location. All children will be given a swim test prior to open swim. Any child that does not pass the test will be required remain in the shallow end of the pool area.
Sign In and Out
Children are required to be signed in and out on a daily basis by an authorized individual listed on their form. All children must arrive at Day Camp no later than 8:45 am. State issued ID is required to release child.
Absent Policy
No refunds are given for non-attendance.
Payment/Pricing
$149 members/$179 non-members
Payment is for full week only. We do not do daily payments.
Illness/Injury
Parents will be notified of minor injuries at the time of pick up.
For more serious injuries we will make every attempt to contact the parent/guardian using all numbers provided. It may be necessary to pick your child up from Camp. If warranted, we will call emergency personnel and have the child taken to the nearest hospital.
