Swim Lessons

Stay Safe This Summer With YMCA Swim Lessons

LEADING THE WAY SINCE 1909

The Y introduced the country to group swim lessons over 110 years ago in 1909. Now, as one of the largest community-based organizations in the country, we teach more than a million children, especially those most at-risk of drowning, invaluable water safety and swimming skills each year. We offer a wide selection of classes for all ages that build strong and confident swimmers. Our approach uses a problem-solving, guided-discovery teaching approach in a positive, caring environment. See below to explore each stage!

All age groups are taught the same skills, but divided according to their developmental milestones.
